Dar-Ahlil-Quran students
held a picket outside Masjidul-Fatgh on 18 October 2023 from 11h00 to 12h00 The
picket was held to show our support and solidarity with the people in Gaza,
Palestine. Some of our friends, family and well as people from the public
sector joined us.
Eight students of Dār Ahlil Qurān graduated on 29 October 2023 at the Wittebome Civic Centre in Wynberg: Azeeza Keraan, Firdouz Isaacs, Imaan Taliep, Imrah Davids, Kauthar Taliep, Razaan Esau, Saajiedah Kamalie and Saarah Noor recited their final lesson from memory in the presence of the following adjudicators: Sheikhs Igshaan Davids, Igsaan Abrahams, Muneer Satardien, Ismail Londt, and Mogamat Adams.
On 8 November 2023, the educators of Dār-Ahlil-Qurān were invited by Sheikh Ismail Londt to Voice of the Cape Radio Station to share the experience of DARAQ’s Qurān graduation of 8 graduates. The programme was hosted by Fasiegh Petersen. Mu’allimah Shafeeqah spoke about the beauty and importance of spending time with the book of Allah (S.W.T.)
